This is the afghan that we did in loving memory of our friend and fellow knitter, Kendall Atkinson. Kendall lost her battle with Fanconi's Anemia in 2005.

We made this afghan in 2005 to support and comfort children that visit Sungate Kids, a local organization to help kids through sexual abuse. It's a wonderful team of people dedicated to making a difference in the life of a child - check it out at www.sungatekids.org
