TEEN KNITTING CLUB

Knitty Cat’s once-a-month club for gathering young knitters, boys and girls ages 12-17, to learn a new skill and meet some new friends. Come for them all or drop in when it’s good for you. Parents are welcome to stay and play or can use this as an evening to run some errands. Come in any time after May 1 to pick up your beginning knitting kit for June!

Join us for a fun evening of beginning knitting! Learn to knit and to change colors. We’ll get the pizza and pop and you get to come and meet some new friends! Price includes the book we’ll be using for the first 3 months and the yarn and needles for the project.

Come for the next project. A tote bag for knitting! This pattern comes from the book we got last time. Didn’t come last time? No problem - you can purchase the book on this evening. We’ll add a pocket and have pocket sandwiches and lemonade! Cost includes dinner, yarn and needles.

Time to knit in the round. We’ll make a basic hat out of soft cotton chunky yarn for summer. We’ll provide hot apps and punch. Cost includes circular needles and double pointed needles and yarn. Don’t have the book from the previous meetings? You can purchase a copy on this evening.
